Gears & Garlic (G&G) was founded in August 2024 by husband and wife, Ace and Eshani Galermo, after re-locating to Gilroy from the East Bay Area in early-2023 to be closer to both families. After noticing a lack of established high-performance car organizations in the area, G&G was founded. The intention of its formation was to gather like-minded individuals passionate about the art-of-driving, regardless of car model or social status. The ultimate vision for G&G is to simply create a way for South Bay car enthusiasts, professionals, and/or entrepreneurs to meet, network, attend safe-but-fun drives and high-performance drive events (HPDE), and host charity fundraisers.

G&G embarked on its first drive on September 7th, 2024. Since then, history was made.

If you've read up to this point, you're probably still wondering why 'Garlic' was incorporated into the organization's name. Simply, Gilroy is known for being the Garlic capital of the world. Plus, it has a reverse psychology effect when someone reads the name. There's a fair chance you'll never forget our name after you've heard it!
